Graeme Fitchett
I've had the privilege of being part of Centrepoint since 2002. What began as a chance to work with children has grown into a lifelong passion, a career dedicated to helping young people thrive through play, creativity and care.
I've grown alongside Centrepoint, from working directly with children in Playcare to now leading as Head of Children's Services and Professional Development. My journey has been shaped by the people, opportunities and experiences this charity has given me.
Centrepoint has always believed in investing in its people. I've been supported to achieve a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, a Dance Teacher qualification, a Bushcraft Practitioner qualification and a wide range of specialist training that has shaped the leader, mentor and advocate I am today.
I'm immensely proud of the work we do, from our nurseries and playcare centres to our outreach programmes, SPARK initiatives, training hub and forest school projects. Every part of Centrepoint reflects our belief that play changes everything, and that every child deserves to be seen, heard and given the chance to thrive.
I'm inspired every day by our dedicated staff and the children and families we work with. Centrepoint isn't just where I work. It's a community I care deeply about, and I'm proud to keep shaping its future.
