The Space cares for children with complex or additional needs. Every child receives support shaped around their own interests, pace and personality. With a high staff-to-child ratio, we make sure each child has the time, consistency and attention they deserve, building trust and confidence through play and warm, steady relationships.
Calm, creative and thoughtfully designed
Our setting is warm, peaceful and equipped for a wide range of sensory and developmental needs. The sensory room is a tranquil space of soft lighting, gentle sounds and calming textures, while the gym and outdoor areas invite movement and exploration. From soft play and balance bars to swings and sensory pathways, every space supports coordination, confidence and play in a safe, structured way.
A skilled, compassionate team
Our team are highly qualified, with real experience in communication, sensory needs and additional-needs support. They create an atmosphere of warmth, patience and understanding, and they know when to step in, when to guide and when to simply let a child be themselves.
Safe, warm and welcoming
The Space is our setting for children with complex or additional needs. It's a safe, warm and welcoming place, designed so that every child can play, explore and simply enjoy being themselves.
The Space also gives you, as a parent or carer, the reassurance of a short break: time to go to work, to be with your other children, or just to catch your breath, safe in the knowledge that your child is with a qualified, experienced team who know how to care for them well.
Inside, our sensory room is calm and tranquil, with soft lighting and gentle sounds: a peaceful space to explore, or to escape, calm down and reset. The gym and outdoor areas invite children to be active alongside others, with balance bars, swings, soft play, a football pitch, a mud kitchen and an outdoor classroom to support movement, coordination and friendship.
