At Centrepoint, our nurseries feel like a second home—warm, welcoming, and full of play. We design calm, thoughtfully set-up spaces with natural resources so children can explore, make choices, and learn independently. Our fully qualified, experienced key workers use a respectful approach to care, building strong, trusting relationships with every child and family. With a multilingual, diverse team, inclusivity comes naturally here. Learning through play (from birth to Reception) We focus on the prime areas of development—communication, physical development, and personal, social & emotional growth—laying the foundations for later learning. Our approach follows the Development Matters framework (the same curriculum used in Jersey school nurseries and Reception), so your child’s experience flows smoothly into school life. Big on outdoors & real-world adventures Fresh air and discovery are part of every day. Our large, mature gardens are made for adventurous play, muddy knees, and big imaginations. Thanks to our fleet of minibuses, we also head out to beaches, dunes, woodlands, parks, and other beautiful island spots—because the whole island is a classroom. Personal care, great communication Every family’s journey starts with a gentle, tailored induction and a carefully chosen key worker for your child. You’ll get regular updates on their day and ongoing insight into their learning and development—so you always feel connected. Two friendly nursery settings Green Street Nursery – Babies, Toddlers, and Pre-school rooms La Pouquelaye Nursery – Babies, Toddlers, and Pre-school rooms Both nurseries are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm, all year round. Each setting has three dedicated rooms tailored to children’s different stages. Funding & hours Parents can access free 30 NEF hours at both nurseries (subject to eligibility and availability).
