What it is
Our Financial Assistance Scheme helps families who are finding it hard to cover the cost of childcare. As a charity, we put some of what we raise back into the community so children don't miss out because of money.
Who it can help
Every family's situation is different, so we look at each request on its own. We may be able to help if you've had a sudden drop in income, an unexpected change at home, or ongoing money pressures that make childcare hard to keep up.
How to ask
Just start a conversation, in confidence. Speak to your Centrepoint manager, ask our office, or come to us through a social worker, health visitor or family support worker. There's no shame in asking, and we'll treat your request with care and discretion.
A hand when things get tough
Family life can be unpredictable, and money can get tight in ways no one plans for. When that happens, childcare can be one of the first things to feel out of reach, just when your child needs the steadiness of a familiar place the most. That's where this scheme comes in. We look at every request quietly and sensitively, taking your circumstances and your child's needs into account, and we treat everyone with respect. To find out more or talk things through in confidence, contact Jane Moy, our Chief Executive, at jane.moy@centrepoint.je or on 01534 735151.
