Every child at The Space is looked after by a qualified, experienced team who tailor each day to that child. You can head to work, spend time with your other children or simply take a breath, knowing your child is safe, happy and understood.
A calm space to explore and reset
At the heart of The Space is our sensory room, with soft lighting, gentle sounds and resources chosen with care. It's somewhere your child can explore, settle and feel calm in their own way, at their own pace.
Room to move, play and connect
Our gym and outdoor areas give children the space to be active and to play alongside others in ways that suit them. Balance bars, swings, an outdoor classroom and a mud kitchen all help build confidence, coordination and friendships.
Built around your child, never the other way round
Every child has the right to play. At Centrepoint we take that seriously, as proud duty bearers of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Space puts it into practice. It's a setting designed for safety, comfort and joy, where children with complex or additional needs can learn, laugh and grow in their own way. Our team gets to know each child closely, so the day works for them. And while your child is thriving, you get the reassurance of knowing they're in caring, capable hands.
