The Space
A Place Where Every Child Belongs đź’›
The Space at Centrepoint is a specialised, nurturing environment for children aged 4 to 11 years with complex or additional needs.
It’s a place designed for safety, comfort and joy — where every child is celebrated for who they are, and where families can feel truly supported.
Safe, Warm and Welcoming
Every child deserves to feel secure, valued and understood.
The Space gives parents peace of mind knowing their child is being cared for by a highly qualified and experienced team who tailor each day to meet every child’s individual needs.
Whether parents are at work, spending time with other children, or taking some well-earned “me time,” they can do so confident their child is thriving — learning, laughing and being cared for with genuine understanding and respect.
Calm, Comfort and Sensory Support
At the heart of The Space is our beautiful sensory room — a calm, comforting haven filled with soft lighting, gentle sounds and thoughtfully chosen sensory resources.
It’s a safe environment where children can explore, self-regulate and relax in their own way.
Active Play and Social Growth
Our spacious gym and outdoor play areas encourage children to move, play and connect with others in ways that suit them best.
We offer a variety of activities and equipment that promote confidence, coordination and social interaction — including:
Balance bars, swings and bouncy castles
Astro-turf football pitch and outdoor classroom
Mud kitchen and sensory play zones
Inclusion at the Heart of Centrepoint
As proud duty bearers of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) — especially Article 31: the right to play — Centrepoint is committed to ensuring every child has equal access to play, care and belonging.
The Space embodies that commitment: an inclusive, joyful setting built around the belief that every child has the right to flourish.
A Space for Every Child — and Every Family
The Space gives children the chance to grow through play, discovery and connection — while giving parents and carers the peace of mind they deserve.
It’s more than a facility — it’s a community built on respect, trust and care.
