Our centre is calm, comfortable and away from the pressures of everyday life. Children can relax, play and simply enjoy time with their family in a setting that feels safe for everyone.
Supervised or supported contact
We offer different levels of support depending on what your family needs, from a trained worker staying close throughout to a gentle hand at handover. We will always talk it through with you first.
Always led by the child
We work alongside families, social workers and the courts, and we never take sides. Every decision we make starts and ends with the wellbeing of your child.

Our services
We understand that separation or divorce can be a difficult and emotional experience for both parents and children. Our dedicated team is here to provide a compassionate and supportive environment, ensuring that children can continue to have positive interactions with their non-resident parent in a fun and welcoming setting.
Our primary focus is on the well-being and happiness of the children involved. We create an atmosphere where they feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged to express themselves freely. Our centre aims to be a neutral ground, providing a safe space for parents to interact with their children without external pressures or conflicts. We cater to children aged 0-15 and we aim to provide a fun and stimulating environment no matter what the age.
We offer a range of services from video contact, supported contact and handover. We hope that by offering the different options to families we can create a trusting and supportive environment for all service users.
Contact Centre timings
Supported Contact
Sundays 9am-1:00pm.
Supported contact helps children to keep in touch with parents if trust has broken down or communication has become difficult. Parents do not have to meet due to our staggered arrival times and several families can use the facilities at the same time.
At Centrepoint Child Contact Centre, we have created a very open environment. Users are free to move throughout the building at their leisure to a variety of activities set up by our Support workers, who are stationed throughout the building and on hand to help when required.
Handover
Saturday 9.00am- 4:00pm
Sunday 9.00am- 1:00pm
Facilitating handovers between caregivers in addition to our Supported Contact sessions allows children to move seamlessly between caregivers while preserving their emotional wellbeing.
During handovers, parents are not expected to interact with each other, with separate entrances and arrival times put in place to establish this. This service provision supports a child (or children) moving from one caregiver to another, with the centre being used for a short period as a drop-off/pick-up point.
We aim to work with the caregivers when the time is right, to enable a smooth transition from our Child Contact Centre to the community whilst always keeping the child’s best interests in mind.
Centrepoint Child Contact Centre is regulated by the Jersey Care Commission and the Centrepoint Service Co-ordinator is Anoushka Horgan.
The Centrepoint Child Contact Centre is also a member of National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC).
