FAQs

The questions families ask us most, answered simply. If there's something else on your mind, just get in touch.

Do you offer part-time childcare?

Yes. We know family life and work look different for everyone, so we offer part-time as well as full-time places.

The sessions, times and fees vary by setting, so the easiest way to find what suits you is to look at the locations and the details for the one nearest you. If you're not sure what would work best, just get in touch and we'll talk it through.

What age groups do you cater for?

Across Centrepoint we care for children from 3 months to 12 years.

In our nurseries we welcome babies from 3 months, with separate areas for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Our out-of-school and holiday clubs then carry on the care for older children. So there's somewhere for your child to belong at every age.

Is Centrepoint a nursery or a preschool?

A bit of both. We're a Jersey childcare charity, and our nurseries care for babies from 3 months old through to pre-school age, with separate spaces for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

So whether your little one is just starting out or getting ready for school, there's a place for them with us. At every stage, children learn through play, at their own pace.

How do I apply for a place?

Each of our settings has its own application form, so the first step is to find the one that's right for your family on the locations page and download the form there.

If you'd like to look around first, you're very welcome to book a visit. And if you have any questions along the way, just get in touch. We're happy to help.
